The London Challenge – KS3

On Thursday 11 May 2017, students participated in a visit to famous sightseeing attractions: the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Dungeon, London Zoo, Trafalgar Square, Chinatown, Piccadilly Circus, to name but a few.

The aim of the day was to visit the selected landmarks, take photos of them and return back to school with the first back receiving a prize.

The students were organised into groups with two teachers. Equipped with their lunch and a day travel card , they had to plan the route, deciding whether to travel by train, bus or walk.

The sense of competition affected the teachers as well who could not help but get involved in the planning!!!!

It was a beautiful day and all enjoyed the experience. For some students this was their first experience of being in central London and they revelled in the sights
